CDC Science Ambassador Program

I just learned about the CDC's Science Ambassador Program. Participants spend one week in a workshop at CDC working with scientists. Middle School and High School teachers are invited to apply to participate. Those who are accepted receive funding for travel and lodging. Lunches are provided for participants. Participants create two lesson plans and all lesson plans from both weeks' workshops are shared. This is a wonderful opportunity to expand your science knowledge as you work and learn from scientists. I highly recommend Utah Science Teachers review and submit the application form by the March 23, 2009 deadline.
