We have fantastic science teachers here in Utah. I just learned the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching nomination period moved up. I hope that we have many science teachers in the state who are nominated!
Nominations are now being accepted online for the PAEMST awards for this year. Those interested in nominating Science and Mathematics teachers, grades K-6, for the 2010 application round should visit https://www.paemst.org/controllers/nomination.cfc?method=nominate.
The opening date has been moved forward from previous years. This is to provide more teachers an opportunity to prepare application materials for this prestigious award. The application phase will open for teachers in mid-November, more details will follow.
