I am so excited to announce that Dr. Mario Capecchi will be the keynote speaker at our annual Mid-Winter Conference. Dr. Capechhi won the 2007 Nobel Prize in Physiology of Medicine. I've never had the opportunity to listen to a Nobel Prize Awardee before and so am very excited for this. I am confident that Dr. Capecchi will be an engaging teacher. He cares about students in the classroom and the education they receive.
Please plan to join other Utah Science Teachers for this incredible event. Remember that strands are being set up relating to different grades and subjects. Please submit to present an activity relating to what you teach. Also remember to nominate a science teacher for recognition.
